LE MÉRIDIEN NEW ORLEANS, New Orleans, LA
SSI was engaged to project manage a comprehensive $29 million renovation of the W New Orleans hotel, which had been acquired by Chesapeake Lodging Trust. Completed in 2015, this hotel offers 410 fully renovated guestrooms and bathrooms, an upgraded fitness center, a brand new lobby with new bar, a new restaurant, and more than 10,000 square feet of meeting space.

W CHICAGO LAKESHORE, Chicago, IL
Acquired in 2012 by Chesapeake Lodging Trust, SSI was engaged to manage a $38 million comprehensive renovation of the 520-room property, commencing in the fall of 2013.  The winner of the "2014 Starwood Luxury Renovation of the Year," SSI project managed the complete redesign with all new guestrooms, meeting space, public space and a brand new restaurant.

HYATT FISHERMAN'S WHARF, San Francisco, CA
Located in the heart of San Francisco, this Hyatt Fisherman's Wharf is a key destination for many personal and business travelers to the Bay area. SSI managed the full renovation of this 316-room hotel in 2015, including all guestrooms and corridors, a new lobby, a refreshed restaurant and breakfast area.

HYATT HERALD SQUARE, New York, NY
Originally constructed as a Holiday Inn in Midtown Manhattan, this 122-room hotel was closed for 8 weeks in the fall of 2014. SSI was engaged to lead the design team and contractors to fully renovate the hotel, including all guest and public service areas, and convert this Holiday Inn to a new Hyatt. Winner of the Hospitality Design Award 2015 for Boutique/Lifestyle Public Spaces and the 2014 "Darc Award" (architectural and lighting design) for Best Interior Scheme - High Budget, Lobby.

THE MAYFLOWER RENAISSANCE, Washington DC
Expansive renovations to this historic landmark hotel included construction of a world-class restaurant, a re-imagined guest check-in experience and a relocated retail component. In addition, significant capital improvements were executed, including kitchen, HVAC and MEP projects. Concluded in the spring of 2013, SSI served as the lead contact and planner for the $12 million renovation, working with Capital Hotel Management as the asset manager and owner's representative on behalf of Rockwood Capital.

WESTIN DIPLOMAT RESORT & SPA, Hollywood, FL
SSI was retained in 2006 as an advisor to the investment manager of this $800 million resort complex to provide capital needs assessment, risk review and capital expenditure planning services for all of the existing operating assets, including the 998-room Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa, the 60-room Diplomat Country Club & Spa and Diplomat Landings Retail Complex. Collectively, the resort complex serves as one of the largest meeting facilities in South Florida and includes a 200,000-square foot conference center, an 18-hole championship golf course, a 30,000-and square foot spa, a 10-court tennis center, and 18-slip marina. SSI was actively involved as part of the re-development team, assessing residential and/or additional resort amenity development potential of various vacant sites in and around the complex, all of which have undergone improvements under SSI oversight and management.

BOSTON HYATT REGENCY, Boston, MA
The renovation of this 502-room hotel located in the heart of Boston included all public areas and a new and visually exciting lobby. The $11 million project, completed in 2015, included guest room, corridor and Presidential Suite renovations. A Chesapeake Lodging Trust hotel, SSI served as project manager, directing and coordinating the overall construction planning, approval and renovation of the project.

COURTYARD ANAHEIM, Anaheim, CA
SSI managed the completion of a state-of-the-art lobby and public area renovation in this Courtyard hotel in January 2013. Located in the heart of the Anaheim Resort District and next to the Convention Center, guestroom and corridor renovations were completed in the spring of 2014.

COURTYARD NAVY YARD, Washington DC
SSI managed the completion of a first floor renovation in this 14-story, 204-room hotel in January 2013, with guestroom and corridor renovations completed in 2014. This select-service, upscale property is owned by Chesapeake Lodging Trust.

COURTYARD and RESIDENCE INN HENDERSON, Henderson, NV
Located just south of Las Vegas, this project involved significant capital improvements to both properties including the replacement of concrete floors and foundations.

DENVER MARRIOTT CITY CENTER, Denver, CO
Towering above the mile-high city, SSI served as project manager for a $3.4 million first floor renovation of this AAA 4-diamond hotel, including a new entrance, lobby, restaurant, and Starbucks installation. Completed in March 2015, this 615-room hotel is owned by Chesapeake Lodging Trust. SSI is currently overseeing the complete renovation of all guest rooms and corridors, scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2017.

HILTON CHECKERS LOS ANGELES, Los Angeles, CA
Renovations to this 188-room, historic downtown LA hotel were completed in January of 2013. The $1.2 million project involved public and guestroom refurbishments as well as rooftop pool improvements.

HOTEL ADAGIO, San Francisco, CA
SSI managed the design and construction of a $7 million renovation consisting of guest room remodel, ground level renovations, and the installation of an air conditioning system in the entire hotel. The successful completion of this project was followed by an additional assignment involving Fire Life Safety upgrades, as required to convert the independent hotel to a franchised Marriott Autograph Collection Hotel. A Chesapeake Lodging Trust property, this 171-room historic hotel is located in the San Francisco theater district.

HOTEL INDIGO, San Diego, CA
SSI was engaged to manage the construction of a rooftop bar and other improvements to this LEED certified boutique hotel located in the Gaslamp Quarter of San Diego and successfully completed in November 2012.

HYATT PLACE NEW YORK MIDTOWN, New York, NY
SSI was engaged by Chesapeake Lodging Trust as advisors to oversee ground-up construction prior to their acquisition of the newly developed, 185-room hotel. This hotel, the first Hyatt Place in NYC, was completed in early 2013.

JUMEIRAH ESSEX HOUSE, New York, NY
This 515-room landmark hotel, owned by the Dubai Investment Group, is located between beautiful Central Park and dynamic Broadway in New York City. Initially hired in January 2007 to review the overall progress of the 90+ million USD renovation, SSI was further retained to serve the role of owner's representative and project manager.  The renovation, which incorporated the famous Art-Deco building with Jumeirah luxury branding, included guest rooms featuring state-of-the-art technology, all meeting spaces, restaurant, and the building exterior. This project was completed in December 2007.

LE MÉRIDIEN SAN FRANCISCO, San Francisco, CA
SSI managed the complete design and construction of a $3.4 million renovation including restaurant, public area, and lobby upgrades of this 360-room Starwood-branded hotel located in the heart of the financial district. Successful completion of this project in the spring of 2013 was followed by the award of a $7 million guest room renovation, completed in 2014.

LITTLE ENTERPRISES, Ipswich, MA
SSI provided project management services to Little Enterprises, a light manufacturing firm, to complete a 19,000 square foot addition to their central plant and corporate offices. SSI was responsible for assembling the team to commence this 1.8 million USD project, including planning and coordination with the local conservation commission, as well as overseeing construction, which was completed in Fall 2005.

MIDDLETON FAMILY MEDICINE BUILDING, Middleton, MA
The construction of this new 15,000 square foot single story state-of-the-art medical facility began in December 2007 with SSI as construction manager of the $2 million project. The building, completed in July 2008, includes multiple physicians’ and therapy offices and an on-site lab. SSI’s services included owner representation, financial support and communication with the lender, design oversight, contractor selection, and complete construction and building turnover supervision.

NATIONAL PARK SERVICES, Fire Island, NY
SSI provided facility management oversight services for a Fire Island National Seashore concession project from the fall of 2007 until the fall of 2008. Responsibilities included monitoring the current project facilitator as well as the overall project budget and schedule. Additionally, SSI assisted the Park Service in the development of procurement, cost monitoring and quality control documents to streamline the planning of projects and the annual capital expenditure budget.

RENAISSANCE PALM SPRINGS, Palm Springs, CA
With SSI's completion of another Highland Hospitality LP property in Fall 2008, the owners turned their attention to rebranding a West Coast 410-room, 5-story Wyndham property into a Renaissance by Marriott.  SSI was again retained for project management services for a $22 million renovation, which was completed in January 2010.  In addition to all guestrooms, renovations included all public spaces, consisting of 19 meeting rooms and ballrooms, restaurant, lobby, and exterior courtyard and pool area.

THE WESTIN ARUBA RESORT, Palm Beach, Aruba
SSI was retained by ownership to provide construction management services for the 15 million USD renovation and conversion of the Wyndham Resort and Casino to a Westin Resort in Palm Harbor, Aruba. Renovations included guestrooms, corridors, the restaurant and lobby areas. This renovation was a two-phase project, the first of which commenced in October of 2006 and was completed on schedule in December 2006. Phase II of the planned improvements included the renovation of the lobbies, the lobby bar, ballroom spaces, and the restaurant. Additional exterior renovations to the pool area were also included. The work was completed in Spring 2008.

W CHICAGO CITY CENTER, Chicago, IL
SSI managed the completion of a $5.1 million, 35-room expansion of this luxury hotel in October 2012. Located in the center of the financial and business district of the city, a new high-end Presidential Suite has recently been completed and extensive public space improvements are ongoing to this Chesapeake Lodging Trust property.
